Butler IT Evolution - Russell Martin & Associates and Butler University’s CIO and IT Leadership team created and examined a snapshot of the Butler IT Organization and staff using TTI-SI tools, outside experts, customer surveys and the latest academic and industry findings. A baseline was established, current and future trends were identified and an assessment of what might be needed going forward was created. The leadership compared the organization’s current state to their future state findings and shared all this information with the IT staff through ‘town hall’ meetings to create an open forum for proposed ideas and discussions. Over the course of two years, the organization followed and has continued to evolve their “IT Evolution” roadmap. They’ve met the needs of their customers, helped place their own employees in the right positions and have continued to stay ahead of the IT curve as a thriving, successful organization at Butler University.
Liberty Mutual - RMA developed and facilitated a multi-session team development series that focused on collaborative teams and leading difficult project teams. The first phase focused on growing resiliency by focusing on team strengths; aligning the vision of the team; and creating a prioritization strategy to help team members make appropriate choices. The second phase aimed at managing multiple agendas of cross-organizational project work; competition within a collaborative structure; and identifying cost and benefits of collaboration. Together with RMA, the Liberty Mutual teams created a plan to manage the communication needs of cross-organizational projects and move toward the desired state of project collaboration.
Dynegy - This facilitated learning session focused on resilience in the face of change. Based on Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey model, this course sought to create insight into the transitional process through change. Dynegy participants explored their own change journeys and gained insight into their individual approach to change. Learners successfully finished the program by creating their own individual action plan around maintaining energy and resilience on their personal journey to keep pace with the rapidly changing world of work.
