Please be careful to vet the charities – there’s an opportunity in this chaos to work with a charity that isn’t legit. Stick with the charities you know or work with your work or church groups who have already built these relationships.
Here are some ideas for you if you can give out:
- Dayspring Homeless Shelter (Indianapolis) – currently the families have been moved to hotel space so they can social distance from each other. The benefactors for this are amazing - so kind and giving. What the families need now are gift cards they can use to buy essentials other than food. CONTACT HERE

Join Lou Russell on the Training Magazine Network webinar “L&D to the Rescue”.
No need to explain that times are crazy…we all get it. Organizations are desperate for timely and pertinent instruction as their people work from home. It’s great that L&D is the function your staff demands but the budgets are slashed. Instead of doing the obvious – converting your existing workshops into blah blah webinars – L&D must be innovative, nimble and uplifting to deliver quality learning while keeping the cost low. LECTURE AS A LAST RESORT is still and always critical for growing practical skills. Join Lou to discuss how great L&D practitioners are avoiding ‘dialing it in’. Instead, learn how L&D can quickly and cheaply create new ways of helping people do their jobs well.
Take our quarantine survey to get some of your feeling out. Thanks.
