In all truthfulness, when I'm at a conference, looking at free courses on Coursera or checking out Training Magazine Network's free webinars, I would not be inclined to go to a project management session either. Frankly, most project management approaches are based on two things that I don't like much: fear-based control and lots of extra tricky tools. Greg is right - project management can certainly be un-fun.
This month, I'm going to provide some small bites for two groups of people: the people who have never taken the time to check-out our PM approach and the people who have been to a PM learning experience, got all excited about their Project Charter and Schedule, and then completely neglected working it into their real work life due to chaos and status quo. I'm going to prioritize what we teach in class so you can add one little bite a week. If you just add one, your projects and your velocity will be improved. Now that's something to be thankful for!
