Susan has over
10 years of consulting experience with the 8th largest CPA
and consulting firm. She has worked as a project manager,
business analyst, change management agent, process
improvement analyst, risk management analyst, product
specialist, systems testing manager, trainer, technical
writer, sales person, coach/mentor, and programmer. She has
a proven track record of managing challenging information
technology projects and is a results-driven professional
with experience leading multifunctional teams of experts in
initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing
complex projects.
She founded a
project management consulting company in 2000.
Consulting has given her experience with multiple clients,
which allowed her to better handle client issues as they
arise. She is also excellent at building client
relationships and maintains personal relationships with her
past clients. She is an excellent communicator with
demonstrated performance in interacting with all levels of
management, clients, contractors, end users, and customers.
She has
expertise in facilitation, requirements gathering, and
design documentation and possesses great analytical skills
and is a creative problem solver. She is well versed
with Capability Maturity Model (CMM) as a project manager,
process implementor, process trainer, and process definer.
She assisted an organization in achieving CMM level 2
certification. She provides innovative leadership and
builds teams who think creatively and is an excellent mentor
for others. Susan has done training for over 16 years and
is an enthusiastic and effective speaker.
She is
dedicated to continuous improvement of project management
systems and is an advocate of the Project Management
Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
methodology, for Project and Program Management. She has
been involved in numerous firm wide initiatives relating to
project management due to her passion in this field. Susan
is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified with
Project Management Institute (PMI).
