PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT

What is working well and what isn’t in your current approach to project management?

To gain an overview of corporate project management in the areas of structure, process and responsibility, Russell Martin & Associates facilitates several sessions and/or focus groups with selected management staff.  The goal of these sessions is to understand the status of these areas and create an action plan for implementing improvements deemed beneficial.

WHAT THE SESSION PROVIDES
The facilitator would be a subject matter expert and PMP (Project Management Professional).  At the first session, a list of issues will be created.  The list will then be prioritized and categorized as to whether the issue will be addressed in the sessions or outside the sessions.  The number of sessions can then be determined and scheduled.

 
DELIVERABLES FROM THE SESSION(S)
Once these issues (and any others identified) have been discussed and resolved, RMA will provide a written document of outcomes and agreed upon actions.

Potential next steps:

  • Determine if existing methodology being used in the organization is adequate.
  • Document the methodology if necessary.
  • Create a plan requiring methodology use at some level for each project.
  • Enhance the existing project management framework as needed.
  • Determine if training is required.
